To say this car is rather nice is a bit of an understatement but to be fair the suicide doors do let the side down. They are better than them sticking Lambo Doors on the Caddy but are still a bit of a strange choice, they just really date the look of the car overall which is a real shame and lets face it will be a pain in the ass to live with! Jordan installs an Audison Bit One, JL Audio XD400/4, XD600/1, and four JL Audio 8w3's. Jordan also starts the iPad 2 dash panel. Jonny puts on some spring stilts. John stops by to discuss Jordan's box build. Doug tries out his custom extra large Nunchaku. Mr. Mat visits to give the crew some dance lessons. Here is what we know about the new Astra VXR it is based on the current GTC model Astra. The power output has been increased from 236bhp to around the 300bhp mark, so expect to see 0-60 in under 6 seconds and a top speed over 150 mph. The new VXR will be on sale next year (2012) and cost around £25k.

This is history, yet another quality UK tuner publication bites the dust (Previously Max Power). Yeah, we will be honest Max Power was sliding down a shit slide and with the huge drop in readership its death was to be somewhat expected, especially when ever you consider the sales the publisher was used to during the magazines peak! It is hard to see the reason behind the closure of Redline Magazine especially with its healthy monthly circulation figures, they upgraded, expanded and changed to suit the market they wanted and in turn created their own - a well written, enjoyable and informative Performance Tuning mag. It seems Redline just did not fit within the parameters set by their publisher - Future. They will be missed and a great loss to the scene!

This is breaking news, the popular UK tuning magazine Redline by Future Publishing will disappear from our shelves after issue 174. That means there are only 2 more issues then nothing more than a memory. With the loss of Max Power also this year you begin to wonder how long other similar magazines will survive.

Below is the official statement from the Redline Team:
Since breaking the news that Future was proposing to close Redline magazine, we’ve been blown away by the kind words of support posted by our fans on facebook. Unfortunately, I must break the news that issue 174 will be the final edition of Redline to be published.

The whole team is gutted by the news, but are glad that we get to produce one final cracking magazine.

So a huge thanks to everyone that’s supported us over the years. From loyal readers and advertisers to all our mates in the office that have helped make Redline such a fantastic magazine; cheers guys! And a special thanks to our 7,342 facebook fans for showing that the tuning community can be such a knowledgeable and inspirational place.

We’ve had an amazing time doing a job that we all love and we want to go out with a bang! So please support us and buy the next two issues of the UK’s No.1 Performance Tuning Magazine. Issue 173 is on sale 22 September and our final (sniff) issue, 174, hits the shelves on sale 20 October. Sorry I have been out of touch I just got my new Rides Magazine and there have been a few assumptions out there, that I was forced out of Miami and business was bad these are all FALSE …. Miami was a great city great for business and the people that I met were very welcoming and generous, I have nothing but great things to say about all of them. The decision why I moved my talents back to where it all started the Empire State is simply my family is in New York. I really can say I have been working at this car game for over 20 years and I have never taken any time out for myself or my family. This Sunday at Junction One in Antrim a stunning display of more than 300 road and competition cars is expected at the RMS 10th birthday car show, which will be held at Junction One shopping outlet on Sunday 21 August, and is in aid of Arthritis Care NI.

The show will be open from 1.30pm until 5pm and there will be free entry for spectators. Due to the support of members and motoring enthusiasts across the province there will be vehicles to suit everyone's tastes. This along with the Junction One shops and restaurants makes this a really great family day out.
